Catalogue Number Field too Small

I have been going through my network and adding all the catalogue numbers.

The Catalogue number field is 8 characters.

I tried to add L5504RVFC (it has nine characters and it will not add it)

Worked it out..... you need to drop the "L"

I have just looked at Toolkit build 116 and the L5504RVFC is in the "Add Units" catalogue. I was able to type in the L5504RVFC and have it select the correct unit.
