I believe there's going to be a v3 of Homegate ?

Can we make suggestions for improvements or is it past that stage.

Alternatively can we ask for improvements on V2 - or some help..

On one of the other threads it was discussed using a PDA with Homegate, which is what we do for customers.

Homegate V1. worked a dream on PDA's - v2 is not so good - i find that it can cause lock ups on mobile IE after a period of time, plus in full screen mode theres the really REALLY annoying exit button in the top right.

Can we get back to a simple web version of homegate for PDA's with a simple image map, as the old CGI version ?

Suggestions for V3 of HomeGate and Schedule Plus are welcome, but there is no guarantee that they will be implemented.

You can still use the CGI scipts with HomeGate V2 if you want. They don't offer many of the benefits of using ServerX though (such as secure log-in).

Thanks for that Darren - how do i utilise CGI scripts with it ? - just as v1 and stick homegateCGI.exe somewhere ?

You should be able to use it in exactly the same way as for V1.

CIS can't comment on release dates.

There will be an upgrade from V1 or V2 to V3.
