I must have blinked! Can anyone enlighten me on MinderPRO? Is this the replacement for the previous Automation System?

I don't think so. It is more of a security system from what I have read. There are some PDF's available on the CIS Aisa web site. It can control C-Bus, but I don't think it is as flexible as the original Minder. But I would love to be proven wrong...

so if minder has been removed, what is going to be available for logic 'work'. The system as it stands without it is too limited and something is definately needed.
When I first saw the minderPro I thought it was an alarm panel tied in with the minder funtionality, but it apopears to be an alarm panel only.

a little research has led me to believe that the MinderPRO is a rebadge of an Automation System that is currently available in Australia under another brand.
Surely history is not repeating itself?

The new C-Bus logic controller, apparently. I'm told it's about to be released, can't wait!

We have been installers for Minder pro for about 4 years. It has developed into probably the most versatile cost effective home automation package available.
However like all of these products it takes a lot of time and experience to get the best out of them.
