View Full Version : Importing CBUS database into Minder
I had tried previously to follow the instructions and get Minder to use my CBUS database. I gave up and entered my CBUS addresses manually as I needed them. Is it possible to get Minder to read the CBUS database so I don't have to re-enter my CBUS addresses, and so they stay in synch?
Thanks,
Brad.

First make sure you have the same project name for both C-bus and Minder
If you are using Windows XP you will need to get the group adresses manually...there is no other way..
If using Win98 there might be DLL files missing from your Minder directory...
tell us your win version and if its win98 i find exactly the DLL's you need
Its Windows XP! I guess that answers that!!
Thanks,
Brad.

This was from a preious thread....
The auto C-Bus tag import feature only works on Windows 95-98-ME.
It is a limitation of Homeminder software, not of C-Bus.
It was fixed externally in "Thinkboxx" version 4.06 available at the site
http://www.smartworldcorp.com/
They now only sell the 4.06 software off their website for $250.00 AUD, also they have built-in product activation into the 406 firmware.
So now you effectively need to buy a new software license for each controller you program.
Works great!

To get this to work under 98 is it just the project names have to be same ??
Is there some menu option to get it to load the cbus group address database
