I was wondering if anyone has written code for a random pulsing of group addresses from an input (ie if you have a large commerical building with 35 AC units and a current limiter triggers a relay then randomly pick a AC to turn off if it remians high keep picking random AC units to turn off)
or ( if you have a kids party and press a switch to trigger the party mode and you have selcted lights pulsing on randomly and repeating until trigger group is turned off) let me know or I will try to write one. Cheers

Can't help with the code, but another good example of a use for this would be an "un-attended home" thingy...

It could turn on and off random lights, that would kind of give the impression that somebody was home when really they weren't

Cheers, John

Have a look at the "Random Event Times" topic in the FAQ of the Logic Engine help file.

Nathan call me. Or drop a post with an email address.

I have some sample programs. I have decided to get Darren to check these before going public, however Darren is REALLY busy and hasn't had the time. In the meantime I am happy to give out my work to individuals on the understanding that you use them for training or in any case at your own risk ;)

The program includes serial 232 controls for high end amps etc.

Sorry Phil :(

Now that V3.3 is released, I should be able to find some time...
