I have media Centre Edition Up and running... But I have seen no hooks for automation.
No "MY LIGHTS" section !!!!
Do you know of other automation systems that talk to the "Media Centre" part of media Centre ??

I am trying to develop something at the moment - but Im having trouble
finding time to sit down a work on it.
here is a screenshot of a sample page
http://www.intellihome.com.au/sample.doc
At the moment I can turn on and off groups ,set levels , Trigger scenes etc
I still have to work on the interface - add more icons etc.
Its runs on a web server as ASP pages (so theoretically any media center on the network should be able access it an control cbus - however for some reason I can only get it working on the machine running the wed server and media center)
Ill try and get it into a form that people can download and look at (no flashy install just files and where thay have to go) over the next week.
What kind of things are people wanting to control in cbus via media center?

Bit of an update on my last post.
Ive now transfered the cubs setup, to MSQL Table, so it is much easier to setup pages eg Lounge, kitchen etc, with no coding knowledge.
Ive test on Xbox360 media center extender and this now works, as well as working through a standard web browser (only MS IE).
I still have a fair amount of work to do. I have setup a sample at:

Looking good,
I am thinking of changing my ATI All IN WONDER system over to Media centre and a C-Bus interface in Media centre itself would look great and user friendly.

Hi Nathan
One of the xPL Developers is currently working on a plugin for Windows Media Center....since xPL already has a cbus plugin this may be an option...
Check out the link....

Am I the only one that thinks it somewhat perverse that Clipsal have not grabbed this opportunity to take some ownership of their product and led development on the CBus to Media Center Interface.
It seems the points I have previously tried to make about the future of HA passing CIS by has never been more evident than it is in this topic.

Because you're not privy to all activities currently being undertaken within the Engineering Group you should be more guarded in the scathing criticisms you bring to bear on the company.
As we have said a number of times before, we're neither willing nor at liberty to discuss unreleased products, either hardware or software.
