View Full Version : Can't update C-Touch B/W Firmware from PICED

I have PICED 3.1 and Toolkit 1.1.6 connect to CBus via CNI (ethernet interface).
I can communicate to CBus fine and functions work well in operate mode.
I can't download from the C-Touch Unit to PICED - get an error. I assumed this is because I'm on firmware 1.9 not 2.0 on the C-Touch B/W so I tried to upgrade the firmware.
The option under Transfer Project to Unit in PICED for select the firmware file is grayed out (ie. disabled) so I can't access it.

Any ideas?

Is it because I'm not COM connected?
Can it be done via CNI

Sorry I just realised I posted this in the wrong Forum - I can't move it - if admin can thanks.

Thanks
Darren

You can't transfer a project from a C-Touch to PICED via C-Bus. You must use a serial connection.

You also can't update firmware via C-Bus. You need a serial connection for this too.

No.
