Hi NewGen,
Unfortunately this falls into that area where we aren't allowed to talk about future products. If you have signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) you can approach you local sales rep and they can assist you in this area.
As the we [CIS] get used to the forum, we will undoubtably get better at knowing what we can and can't say in a publically searchable forum.
Someone closer to the decision making end of the food chain here at CIS might be able to add a bit more light, but don't feel as if you are being ignored if this is the only response you get, the rules internally were pretty clear about this.

hahaha, thanks anyway, it's just the GUI and the feel of working in the current v2.x.x is just a tad morbid in large projects,

It is rather dated isnt it :-)
V3 (watch out for a new name) is in its final phase of testing. I'll post some screenshots over the next few days to give you a feel for whats in it. Its release is dependent on how happy we are with the testing.
Thanks for your patience thus far :)

I like how the new V3 C-Bus software is mentioned in the latest Clipsal catalog, priced at several hundred dollars BUT there is a note saying that it will also be available from the Clipsal website for download for FREE!!!
I know what I'll be doing!
Regards,
Michael.

Hi,
I'm not sure what you saw.. V3 is not developed under Java.

sorry, i could have been wrong... just seeing bits and pieces of the backend doesn't really help... but, at least majority of it wasn't in a Win95 Skinned Look&Feel :D
but hang on... what's this Java runtime stuff in installtion ?!
