c-gate misses units

I tried running c-gate 1.5 with and without the updates on my windows xp system. It connects fine but only reports between 5 and 11 of the 34 units when I do a tree command. It sometimes says I have zero units but shows some, other times it says 34 but only shows 11. Can anyone offer any advice?

The most likely cause is poor network communications. Use the C-Bus Diagnostic Software http://www.clipsal.com/cis/downloads.php3#Diag to see if you have reliable communications.

If not, then check
- burdens
- number of units
- power supplies
- network voltage
- cable length
- clocks
